This week, it is important for you to be not only diligent but to devote time to your writing and all that comes with it on a daily basis. That includes reading up on writing tips, researching certain topics and specific terminology you might need to know more about, meditating on your story and characters, etc. If you can span the entire bandwidth of intellectual, creative and intuitive connection, perfect! And remember, do it with love. If you feel it is becoming a chore, remind yourself why you are a writer.
When you take the time to really get into your story on an intuitive level and speak with your characters, listen to them, observe them how they feel, act and speak, you will find you are gaining much greater insight and this revelation will overall enhance your writing.
The other great advantage to gain from using your heart and intuition on a daily basis to connect with your story and characters is that it will bring with it greater flow. If you have experienced some blockages, story and character-related meditation will go a long way to remove these obstacles and get you back into the flow!
For readers, it is advised to choose books that will touch your heart and make you feel the magic of life again. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a story containing magic. It can also be an epic love story or a self-help book that feels empowering to you and fills you with optimism, love and joy. This week is less suited for harsh, dark and sinister reading and more for books that caress your heart and soul in some way (and yes, I am aware of Halloween but these are the current global literary energies at work).
