Ladybird

I have loved animals as far back as I can remember. I played with my "imaginary" animal friend as a child, not knowing at the time what a power animal was. I had vivid dreams and visions throughout my life. I also felt drawn to different animals at different times in my life and when I found out about power or spirit animals, I finally understood why. Reading up on those animals and then going on shamanic journeys and meditations afforded me the entry point into the world of animals on a spiritual level. The reason I prefer the term power animal to spirit animal is simply because it feels more grounded and manifested to me. You are, of course, welcome to use whatever term you like; power animal, spirit animal, animal guide...You choose. The important thing is to have a strong, loving connection and to trust and ask your animal to teach you and share its wisdom with you.

Good Luck & Nuclear Science

Ladybird stands for good luck. This meaning is often misunderstood as something that happens to you without your active involvement. Good luck is not being bestowed upon you by fate, a deity, angel or the Universe, but it is something you created. Yes, YOU!

So how does this work? We all are energetic beings. I don’t mean this as in that we have lots of drive and stamina, but that we are made of energy. Everything is. Ask any halfway decent physicist and he or she will tell you that atoms, electrons, neutrons, etc, are all made of energy. Einstein used this to discover the formula for nuclear fission but didn’t believe it would actually be possible in reality. However, in 1938, Otto Hahn proved him wrong.

As we are all made of energy, capable of releasing an enormous potential strength, we are energetic formations that vibrate at a certain rate. Depending on which energy vibration you run, which in traditional, non-scientific terms have been named love or hatred, peace or anger, joy or despair, etc, you create experiences in your life whose energetic blueprint harmonizes with your own. You’re on the same wavelength, not only with people but also places, things and situations. Thus, you create your own reality and anything in it.

When you are vibrating at a high rate, you are happier, healthier and feeling more of a sense of love and equilibrium in your emotional makeup than people who are vibrating at a lower rate, for example, angry or depressed people.

The message of the ladybug is that you are creating your own reality and that you have done well or doing well and should trust in your own capabilities. Doubt and negative thinking are counter-productive and you have set all the right energetic signals to draw into your life that which you desire. Don’t self-sabotage by thinking it can’t be possible, you cannot be so lucky. Yes, you can!

Simple Physics

At this time, watch out for synchronicities, like meeting people you have just thought of or who suddenly show up to help you solve a

problem or overcome a challenge, you see a link to an article on social media that answers your question you hadn’t yet asked, and so forth. Even if external circumstances seem to be less than lucky, these signals are pointers and reassure you that there is always help.

“Ask and it shall be given.”

This is not meant as speaking empty words out of a mentality of lack and powerlessness, but it means, when you focus all your energy and intent on that end result you desire, you will be given the steps and means to achieve it. When inspiration hits, act on it, and be assured in the knowledge that everything is working in your favour, meaning, in alignment with the energy you put out. Energy does not operate on moral principles of human perception, like good or bad, reward or punishment. It simply operates on the basis of like attracts like.

This is why negatively minded people always seem to have drama in their lives and things are continuously going wrong for them, whereas deep-down happy and confident people seem to be reaching their goals – and, in fact exceeding them – almost as if by magic, often with surprisingly little effort. This is not a woo-woo magic wand fairy realm assertion, it’s simple science.

Loving Yourself

When Ladybird has entered your life, know that yes, you are that lucky, and give yourself a big pat on the back because you deserve it. You did it all yourself!

Meditate upon the fact that you are an all-powerful creator and have all the tools necessary to manifest your every desire. Work on your self-confidence to believe in yourself. A good exercise for this is to stand in front of the mirror, preferably naked. Look yourself in the eyes and say out loud and clear, “I love you, I accept you unconditionally.”

Do this as often as you need until you really mean it. It gets better each day. After this, look at your body and concentrate on seeing beauty. See the beauty in everything, no matter if you’re not a size zero, have scars or whatever it is you are usually criticising about yourself. Stop talking yourself down! It’s time for a change. Keep going until you are beautiful in your own eyes.

Sit down with a pen and paper or use your journal and write everything down, inside and out, that is great and unique about you. As you repeat this exercise each day, you will notice how much your self-awareness shifts for the better. And with it, you will also see your outer reality slowly (or quickly) start to shift. Don’t despair, if it doesn’t happen instantaneously, there is always a bit of a time delay between creation in the mind and it becoming a physical reality. The more practised and secure you are in this, the quicker it’ll happen.

Don't forget to be patient and compassionate with yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day and you are not competing with anyone. This is self-care, wellness for the soul. Remember that. So take time to love yourself up regularly!
